Purpose
The purpose of this report is
to seek approval, in accordance with Contract Procedure Rule 9.1.3
(g), to seek an exemption from Contract Procedure Rule 7 (tenders),
and award contracts without competition to Riverside Housing and
Anchor Hanover Group for Sheltered Accommodation and Dispersed
Alarms.
The reasons for the decision
are, as required by Contract Procedure Rule 9.1.3 (g):
The ASO can demonstrate that no
genuine competition can be obtained in respect of the purchase of
particular Supplies, Services or execution of Works.
Decision
By
Interim Executive Director (Resources):
That Contract Procedure Rule 7
(tenders) be waived, in accordance with Contract Procedure Rule
9.1.3 (g), to permit the award without competition of contracts for
the provision of Sheltered Accommodation and Dispersed
Alarms.
By
Interim Executive Director (Health and Social Care):
(ii) That contracts be awarded without competition to
Riverside Housing and Anchor Hanover Group for the provision of
Sheltered Accommodation and Dispersed Alarms from 1 April 2025 to
30 June 2026.
(iii) That the
Procurement Team be authorised to make the necessary arrangements
for the issue of the relevant contract documentation.
