Purpose

To seek approval to the grant of the surrender
and renewal of a lease in relation to property at Eccleston Street,
Prescot, on the main terms and conditions referred to in the
report.
 

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director (Development
and Infrastructure) hereby;
 

Approves the grant of a surrender
and renewal of a lease in relation to property at Eccleston Street,
Prescot, on the terms detailed in this report.

 

Authorises the Head of Legal
Services to prepare and complete all necessary legal
documentation.

 

Alternative options considered

The Council could decide not to agree the
surrender and renewal of the lease, but this option is rejected as
the new lease will enable the existing established business to
continue to occupy the property.
