Purpose

To seek approval to amend the Tenant’s details in a
previously approved report (RED/141/2025) in relation to a property
at Cherryfield Drive, Kirkby Town Centre.  The amendment is detailed in Appendix A of this
report (exempt from publication by virtue of paragraph 1, 2 and 3
of part 1 of schedule 12a to the Local Government Act
1972).
 

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director (Development
and Infrastructure) hereby;
 

Approves the grant of a new lease in
relation to property at Cherryfield Drive in Kirkby Town Centre on
the terms as detailed within this report; and

 

2.   
Authorises the Head of Legal Services to prepare and complete the
necessary legal documentation.

Alternative options considered

The above proposal is a minor amendment to a
previously approved report and presents no greater risk. The
Council could refuse consent to the change, however this could
prevent a vacant unit to be let.
