Purpose

The purpose of this decision sheet is to seek
approval to change the name of the proposed assignee in relation to
a proposed assignment of a property referred to in the approved
report RED-184-2025.  Details of the
change of name are included in Appendix A and are exempt from
publication under Paragraph 3 of Part 1 Schedule 12A of the Local
Government Act 1972.
 

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director Development
and Infrastructure hereby;
 

Approves the change of assignee for
a proposed assignment of property at Birchill Road, Knowsley Business Park, as detailed
within this report.

 

Authorises the Head of Legal
Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal
documentation.

 

Alternative options considered

The lessee has a contractual right to assign
unless the Council as landlord can satisfy reasonable grounds for
refusal.  No such grounds apply in this
case.
