Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
in accordance with Contract
Procedure Rule 6.5.2 (i) (Schedule 1) to award
a contract to NTA Monitor Ltd for
the Annual PSN IT Health Check, Secondary ITHC
& Cyber Essentials Plus
Assessment / Certification for 12 months. From
1st of Aug 2025 to the 31st of July
2026.
 
The reason for the decision is that a
compliant procurement exercise has been undertaken in accordance
with Contract Procedure Rule 6.5.2 (i) (Schedule 1) and the most
advantageous bid has been identified.
 

Decision

(i)       That, in accordance
with Contract Procedure Rule 6.5.2 (i) (Schedule 1) a contract be
awarded NTA Monitor Ltd for the Annual PSN IT Health Check,
Secondary ITHC & Cyber Essentials Plus Assessment /
Certification for 12 months. From 1st of Aug 2025 to the
31st of July 2026.
 
(ii)       That,
the Procurement Team
be authorised to make the necessary arrangements for the issue of
the relevant contract documentation.
 

Alternative options considered

Do Nothing
 
This option was considered and rejected as it
is a requirement of the accreditation for the Public Service
Network Code of Connection that an independent IT Health Check is
undertaken
 
Deliver in house: This option was considered
and rejected as the requirement for the IT Health Check is that it
is independent.
