Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to the grant of a new lease on the terms as detailed in this
report, in relation to property at St Chads Parade, Kirkby Town
Centre.
 

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director (Development
and Infrastructure) hereby;
 
1)   
Approves the grant of a new lease on the terms detailed in this
report.
 
2)   
Authorises the Head of Legal Services to prepare and complete the
necessary legal documentation.
 

Alternative options considered

The Council could decide not to grant the new
lease, however this will secure an existing tenant with a good
offering in the town centre, and continue to generate income, as
well as regularising the existing tenancy arrangements.
