Purpose

The purpose of the report is to request the
regrade of an existing post to reflect changes in the job
description which has resulted in a change to the grade following
job evaluation.
 

Decision

That the Chief Executive approves the regrade
of the existing post of Head of Family Help and Protection in
Children’s Services from PMG 4 to PMG 5.
 

Alternative options considered

The option of not proposing a regrade was
rejected on the basis that the changes to the job description are
an essential element of the role.
