Purpose

The Scheme of Delegation to
Officers set out in the Council’s Constitution provides that
the Chief Executive may determine appropriate arrangements to cover
other officers named in the Scheme in their absence.  This decision sets out who may undertake this role
during August 2025 to ensure that appropriate governance
arrangements continue to be in place for this period.
 

Decision

That the Executive Director (Regeneration and
Economic Development) be authorised to determine appropriate
arrangements for cover (including acting on the matter himself)
during August 2025 in the unlikely event that the relevant
officer(s), as per the Scheme of Delegation to Officers, are unable
to act on the matter for consideration.
