develop a “grow our own” approach to workforce
planning.
 

Decision

The Executive Director (Resources) is
recommended to agree additional capacity in the Internal Audit and
Finance teams as set out in section 5.1 of this report.

Alternative options considered

Continue with the vacant posts was rejected as
there is significant pressure to increase workload.
