Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to the renewal of a lease on the terms as detailed in this report,
in relation to property at Newtown Gardens, Kirkby Town Centre.
 

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director (Development
and Infrastructure) hereby;
 

Approves the grant of a lease
renewal for the property at Newtown Gardens, Kirkby Town Centre, on
the terms detailed in this report; and

 

Authorises the Head of Legal
Services to prepare and complete all necessary legal
documentation.

 

Alternative options considered

The Council could decide not to grant the new
lease, however this will secure an existing tenant with a good
offering in the town centre, and continue to generate income, as
well as regularising the existing tenancy arrangements.
