Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to the granting of landlord’s consent to the
assignment of a lease of property at Knowsley
Business Park.
 

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director Development
and Infrastructure hereby:
 

Approves the granting of consent to
the assignment of a lease of property at Marl Road, Knowsley
Business Park, as detailed within this report.

 

Authorises the Head of Legal
Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal
documentation.

 

Alternative options considered

None.The lessee has a contractual right to
assign unless the Council as landlord can satisfy reasonable
grounds for refusal. No such grounds apply in this case.
