Purpose

The report seeks approval, in accordance with
Contract Procedure Rule 9, for the award of Crown Commercial
Services G-Cloud 13 Framework contract to Namos Limited for the
provision of integrated Oracle Managed Services support.

Decision

The Executive Director (Resources) is
recommended to:-
 
(i)       approve the award of
a Crown Commercial Services G-Cloud 13 Framework contract to Namos
Limited for the Provision of Oracle Managed Services from 1 April
2024 to 31 March 2027, with the option to extend for a further
period of 12 months; and
 
(ii)       authorise the
Procurement Team and Legal Team to make the necessary arrangements
for the issue of the relevant contract documentation.

Alternative options considered

Do Nothing: This option was considered and
rejected as the Council must have a service provision to enable the
system to function effectively.
Deliver in house: This option was considered
and rejected as there is not the expertise or systems in house to
be able to carry out this function.
