Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to the terms for the surrender and renewal of a lease (part) of
property at South Boundary Road, Knowsley Business Park.

Decision

The Head of Housing and Property hereby;
 
1)       Approves the
surrender and renewal of a lease as detailed in this report.
2)       Authorises the Head
of Legal Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal
documentation.

Alternative options considered

The Council could decide not to agree to the
transaction as it is not compelled to agree it. However, the new
lease will facilitate an extension to an existing factory by the
leaseholder and secure an increase in rental income to the
Council.
