Purpose
On 13 March 2023, the Council approved a
programme of investment for the Knowsley Better Together Hardship
Fund. This report provides a further
review of spend in two areas of the Hardship Fund and proposes the
identified underspend be reallocated to the Council’s
Discretionary Housing Payment budget to provide support to eligible
residents before the end of the financial year.
Decision
The Executive
Director (Resources) in consultation with the Cabinet Member for
Resources is asked to agree the amended allocations to existing
Hardship activity as outlined in the table below:
