Purpose

Do Nothing: This option was considered and
rejected as not undertaking the work would hinder the
Council’s ability to provide its legal duty for the provision
of school places. 
Re-Tender: There was an option to re-tender
the contract and this was rejected due to the bids received
demonstrating value for money and experience required to deliver
the contract.

Decision

In accordance with Contract Procedure Rule
7.7.6 seek approval to award a contract which exceeds the agreed
estimated by more than 5% to Ridge and Partners LLP
Consultancy.
