Purpose

The Executive Director (Children's Services)
and the Executive Director (Regeneration and Economic Development)
in consultation with the Children's Services Cabinet Member and the
Regeneration and Economic Development Cabinet Member hereby:-
a.                 
Approve the award of £0.129m of Section 106 Agreement Early
Years funding to Torrington Drive Community Association to
facilitate the creation of additional early years nursery places in
Halewood as set out in this report; and,
b.                 
Authorise the Head of Legal Services to complete the required Grant
Funding Agreement with Torrington Drive Community Association
(which will include an obligation made under Section 106 of the
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to regulate the use of the New
Hutte Neighbourhood Centre).
