Purpose

This report seeks to protect the
Council’s essential IT provision through the payment of
market supplements to retain IT colleagues with highly sought after
technical skills at a time when these skills are critical to
delivery of the Council’s corporate objectives.

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director - Corporate
Support approves the application of the market supplement scheme to
a key officer and post in the IT Service.
