Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to the granting of consent to an assignment and renewal of a
sublease of a property at Acornfield
Road, Knowsley Business Park.

Decision

The Head of Housing and Property hereby; -
 
1)       Approves the
granting of consent to an assignment and renewal of a sublease of a
property at Acornfield Road, Knowsley
Business Park, as detailed within this report
 
2)       Authorises the Head
of Legal Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal
documentation.

Alternative options considered

The lessee has a contractual right to sublet
unless the Council as landlord can satisfy reasonable grounds for
refusal.  No such grounds apply in this
case.
