Purpose

To seek authorisation of the Transparency Report associated with the Highways Maintenance Funding for 2026/27 and the revised Highways Asset Management Resilient Network document.

Decision

The Executive Director (Place) in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development;

a)    Approve the Transparency Report in Appendix A associated with the Highways Maintenance Funding for 2026/27.

b)    Approve the revised Highways Asset Management Resilient Network document in Appendix B.

Alternative options considered

Publishing a Transparency Report and updating the Highways Asset Management Resilient Network document is a condition of the Highways Maintenance Funding that the Council has received from the Department for Transport via the Combined Authority, therefore not producing and revising these documents will result in lost funding.
