Amendment to Red Line Plan and Change of Contracting Party - Sewell Street / Kemble Street, Prescot
September 1, 2026 Director Development and Infrastructure (Tony Clark) (Other) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Purpose
To seek approval for an amendment to the red line plan and change of contracting party in connection with the exclusivity agreement and licence for land referenced in report RED/065/2026. The updated red line plan is included at Appendix A accurately reflects the Council's legal ownership and excludes unregistered land.
The proposed development arrangements remain unchanged, albeit the contracting entity for this project will be PP Prescot Ltd rather than CERT Property Group Ltd. This reflects CERT Property Group's corporate structure, whereby each project is delivered through a separate project specific entity.
Decision
The Director Development and Infrastructure hereby;
- Approves the amendment of the red line plan and change of contracting party for a proposed exclusivity agreement and licence, in relation to land at Sewell Street / Kemble Street, Prescot.
- Authorises the Head of Legal Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal documentation.
Alternative options considered
The above proposal represents a minor amendment to a previously approved report. Should the Council not approve the amendment, the exclusivity agreement and licence cannot be progressed as the red line plan and named contracting party would not accurately reflect the agreed heads of terms.
