Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval to increase a TWC ATM post from 27 hours per week to 36 hours per week from 7th June 2026.

The reason for the decision is to support the management of a growing operational service across a variety of teams.

Decision

That approval is given to permanently increase a 27 hour per week Together We Care, (TWC), Assistant Team Manager, (ATM) post, to 36 hours per week.

Alternative options considered

Do Nothing: This option was considered and rejected as the delivery of safe high-quality person-centred services to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs is a priority for TWC. Having a present and visible management resource is key to supporting Health and Social Care Workers to do this.  Having a management post at ATM level which is part time, makes the distribution of management resource more challenging.
