Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval for the granting of landlord's consent to the proposed subleases, as detailed within this report, in line with the Council's obligations as landlord.

Decision

The Director Development and Infrastructure hereby:

1. Approves the granting of landlord's consent to sublet the property at Webber Road, Knowsley Business Park to two tenants, as detailed within this report; and
2. Authorises the Head of Legal Services to prepare and complete the necessary legal documentation.

Alternative options considered

None. The lessee has a contractual right to sublet unless the Council as landlord can satisfy reasonable grounds for refusal. No such grounds apply in this case.
