Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to direct award contracts to Retford Road Properties from 9th May
2024 to 8th May 2029
 
The Council is utilising the direct award
facility on the Liverpool City Region Care and Support for Adults
and Young People Preparing for Adulthood Flexible Purchasing system
to maintain stability for the people living in the properties from
their current care and support provider.

Decision

The Executive Director (Health and Social
Care) is recommended to:
 
a)       Award contracts
without competition to Alternative Futures Group for the properties
at Retford Road via the Liverpool City Region Care and Support for
Adults and Young People Preparing for Adulthood Flexible Purchasing
system via Service Stream A (i) CQC Registered Community Based
Services which offer personal care and support either with or
without accommodation for those with eligible needs under the Care
Act; and
 
b)       Authorise the
Commissioning Team to make the necessary arrangements for the issue
of the relevant documentation.
