Purpose

The proposed structure is focussed on the
Facilities Management Back Office Team and is intended to ensure
that the Facilities Management Service meets the emerging
challenges both from its local customer base and future Council
priorities including contributing to the prevention and
intervention agenda via healthy eating in schools.

Decision

The Assistant Executive Director
(Neighbourhoods and Commercial Services) approved the
disestablishment of the following posts:
 
(i)       1 x Development
Manager (Catering) post (Grade M)
(ii)       1 x Commercial
Services Support Officer (Programmes and Grants) post (Grade H)
 
and the establishment of the new back office
structure:
(iii)      1 x Commercial Services
Support Co-ordinator post (Grade L)
(iv)      1 x Catering Development
Officer post (Grade K)
(v)      1 x Commercial Services
Support Officer post (Performance) (Grade G)
 
The report also redesignated the following
role in the existing structure from:
 
(vi)      Commercial Services
Support Officer (Catering) (Grade H) to
(vii)     Commercial Services Support
Officer (Technology) (Grade H)
