Purpose

The purpose of the report is to seek approval,
in accordance with Contract Procedure Rule 9.3.1(a), for the
existing contract with Citrus Group (NW) Ltd for periodic
inspection and testing of fixed electrical installations, fixed
appliance testing and minor remedial works contract to be modified
by extending its term as provided for within the existing contract
(section 1, clause 2.2 of the contract) from 1 October 2024 to 30
September 2025 under the same terms and pricing as stated in the
contract awarded September 2021.
 
The reasons for the decision are, as required
by Contract Procedure Rule 9.3.1(a): The modification is provided
for within the existing contract in precise and clear detail with
regards to scope, nature and conditions under which the
modification may be used.

Decision

(i)       That, in accordance
with Contract Procedure Rule 9.3.1(a), the existing contract with
Citrus Group (NW) Ltd for periodic inspection and testing of fixed
electrical installations, fixed appliance testing and minor
remedial works contract be modified by extending the term as
provided for within the existing contract (section 1, clause 2.2 of
the contract)  from 1 October 2024 to 30
September 2025 under the same terms and pricing as stated in the
contract awarded in September 2021.
 
(ii)       That the Procurement
Team be authorised to issue the relevant contract modification
documentation.
