Purpose

The applicants are 67 and 63 years of age and
are in receipt of Income Related Employment Support Allowance and
therefore meet the qualification criteria for housing
assistance.  The proposed action will
remove a category 1 hazard for excess cold and reduce a category 2
hazard for electrics improving safety and the energy efficiency of
a private dwelling, also assisting with reducing fuel poverty.

Decision

The Group Manager of Housing hereby:
 
a)       approves the
application (WH/89/2024) for Warm Homes Housing Assistance set out
in the schedule (Appendix 1) subject to the acceptance of the offer
of assistance by the applicant.
 
b)       authorises payment
of the amount of Warm Homes Housing Assistance set out in the
schedule subject to satisfactory completion of the works and
compliance with the Housing Assistance Policy.
