The Standards (Hearings) Sub-Committee is responsible for hearing and deciding on allegations that a councillor or co-opted member has breached the Council's Code of Conduct. This sub-committee is convened when a formal hearing is necessary to address such breaches. It comprises three councillors, with representation from each political group on the Council. The sub-committee's role is to impartially investigate and determine the outcome of these conduct complaints.
