Decision
1. That having considered the representations
received during statutory consultation concerning the proposed
parking schemes detailed in this report and officers’
responses thereto (Appendices C to H inclusive), to make permanent
traffic management orders under the provisions of sections 6,45,
46, 24, Schedule 1 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 to implement the schemes between February and
April 2025 at a cost of £124,000 as follows:
a. introduce a new Streatham Wells CPZ
operating Monday to Friday between 10am to 4pm as shown on drawing
no. DES-CPZ-N-2016-001-01 Rev B (Appendix J)
b. introduce an extension to the existing
Streatham Hill East (M) CPZ operational Monday to Friday between
10am and 12noon, as shown on drawing no. DES-CPZ-N-2025-001 Rev B
(Appendix K)
2. That having considered the representation
received during the consultation concerning the proposed lamp
column EV chargepoints, and officers’ responses thereto, to
introduce the proposed EV chargepoints as listed in paragraph 5.2
to this report.
3. To have regard to the Equality Impact
Assessment (EIA) undertaken concerning the CPZ as detailed in
Appendix I.
4. To exercise discretion to not cause a public
inquiry to be held pursuant to Regulation 9 of the Local
Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales)
Regulations 1996.
