Purpose
Through an engagement exercise that concluded
in July 2017 Carnegie Community (CCT) CIO | Charity number 1164005
(CCT) emerged London Borough of Lambeth Council’s (The
Council) preferred community partner for provision of room hire,
community hub and community café services.
Since the decision in 2017, CCT has occupied
the Carnegie Library on a series of licences. This report proposes
replacing a series of 6-months licences with the granting of a
21-month lease.
Decision
To grant The Carnegie Community a
lease of Rooms at Carnegie Library 192 Herne Hill Road, Herne Hill,
London SE24 0DG for a term of 21 months effective 11 January 2025
terminating 10 October 2027 in accordance with the Heads of Term
set out in Appendix C.
