Decision

1.
That the Council extend the current contract for a
further twelve (12) months (with a six-month notice period), at a
cost of £160,000. The contract will expire on 30 April 2026.
The new maximum contract value will be £3,287,969. This will
allow time for a full procurement to be completed and a new
contract to be put into place. PayByPhone are willing to continue the contract on
the current payment terms including:

·
Keeping all rates at their current rate for a period
of up to 12 months for both services

·
No change to agreed SLA’s or failure
rebates

·
Six months’ notice clause to tie in with go
live of new contract

This will allow the Council to go out to open tender
procurement in March 2025, with the intention of a new contract
commencing at the beginning of November 2025.
