Purpose
To approve the proposed decision to procure an
Approved Provider List (APL) to ensure we have suitable contracts
in place for the next financial year for our children looked after
and care leavers.
Decision
1.
To appoint providers to six Approved
Provider Lists for semi-independent living services for children
looked after and care leavers.
2.
The Approved Provider Lists will run for
five years from May 2025- April 2030 with an
option to extend for a further two years to April 2032.
3.
Based on a financial analysis between current
charges and the capped new approved provider list charges, the
estimated spend for 2024/25 would be £7.5m. Based on these
figures, the estimated annual contract value should be a maximum of
£7.5m, with £37.5m over the five
years, and £52.5m including the two year option to
extend.
