Decision

1.         
To approve the spend of £10,000
between April and July 2025 for the advertising of the statutory
consultation and making of traffic management orders as set out in
the report.

 

2.         
To authorise officers to undertake
statutory consultation in accordance with the Local
Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales)
Regulations 1996, for the making of new parent traffic management
orders to supersede the existing traffic management orders
(referred to in Appendix A) that provide for parking restrictions
in Car Parks and parking on-street and off-street parking places on
many of the Council’s Housing Estates.
 

3.         
Subject to no material objections being
received, following the statutory consultation process in
recommendation one, to agree to the making of the relevant Traffic
Management Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, but that if any material objections are
received, they are considered by way of a separate written report
before a decision is reached.

 

4.         
To have regard to the Equality Impact
Assessment prepared for the purposes of this report (Appendix
B).
