Purpose

To approve the decision to waive the
Council’s Contract Standing Orders 8.2 and award single
contracts to Peabody, Albert Kennedy Trust and Metropolitan Thames
Valley Housing for the provision of 22 units of housing-related
support to young people, following successful joint bids to the
Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and
Greater London Authority (GLA) Single Homelessness Accommodation
Programme (SHAP).

To approve the decision for Lambeth to contribute £35,507 per
annum toward the total contract cost.

To approve the award a contract to Peabody Trust, for the provision
of eight units of housing-related support to young people aged 22
– 26, from 2024 to 2027, at a building owned by Peabody in
Clapham North

To approve the award a contract to Metropolitan Thames Valley
Housing, for the provision of eight units of housing-related
support to young women aged 18 – 25 with mental ill health at
a building owned by MTVH in Streatham, and housing management
within six units of housing-related support to Lesbian Gay Bisexual
Trans Queer (LGBTQ+) young people aged 18 – 25 at a building
owned by MTVH in West Norwood, from 2025 to 2028

To approve the award a contract to Albert Kennedy Trust for the
provision of support to six LGBTQ+ young people aged 18-25 at the
building owned by MTVH in West Norwood from 1 April 2025 to 31
March 2028

To approve the allocation of £35,407 per annum which will be
funded by Lambeth Council, from the allocated pooled
Children’s Social Care and Adults and Health Supporting
People budgets for the Routes to Independence Pathway. The
remaining £687,480 per annum will be funded through SHAP
revenue funding.
