Decision

1.         
To approve additional capital funding of
£299,017 to
be allocated to the Revitalising Brixton’s Rec Quarter
project from the existing capital budget allocation for Economic
infrastructure investment, including affordable housing and
workspace.
 

2.         
To approve the variation of Design and
Build contract to Bryen and Langley by
the sum of £113,297.80 up to a new maximum value of
£2,738,306.80 including contingency, from October 2023 to
February 2024.
 

3.         
To note the allocation £185,719.20,
the remainder of the budget increase, to different workstreams
according to the table and commentary in the body of the report.
This includes additional expenditure on public realm improvements
beyond the original project scope, as well as design, other
professional fees, evaluation, officer salaries and
contingency.
