Purpose

To approve the procurement strategy, which
will involve a desktop evaluation based on supply/service
descriptions and price, through the Waltham Forest Cycle Hangar
framework. This Framework is free to use and is compliant with
UK/EU procurement legislation so there’s no need to run a
full EU procurement process. The procurement will be comprised of
two Lots. One for installation and the other for maintenance and
management of the hangars.

Decision

1.         
To approve the contract award for Lot 1 – Supply,
Installation, Management and Maintenance of Cycle Hangars to Lockit
Safe Ltd with a contract value of £2.116m for the initial
two-year period increasing to £2.738m if both one-year
extensions are taken up. The contract will be for a period of two
years from January 2024 to January 2026 with the option to extend
for two further years in one-year increments.

 
2.         
To approve the contract award for Lot 2 – Management and
Maintenance of Existing Cycle Hangars to Cyclehoop Ltd with a
contract value of is £65,325 for the initial two-year period
increasing to £130,650 if both one-year extensions are taken
up. The contract will be for a period of two years from January
2024 to January 2026 with the option to extend for two further
years in one-year increments.
