Purpose

Agreement to the approach for the renewal of
Durrington and Amesbury Towers, as a follow up to the decision to
procure a Development Partner for the renewal of the wider Westbury
Estate.

Decision

 

To approve the inclusion of the
Durrington and Amesbury towers site, for redevelopment purposes, in
the Westbury Estate Development Partner procurement and the
Invitation to Tender documents, to be issued in May or June 2025,
subject to the provision that the addition of the towers to the
procurement does not place any additional burden on the General
Fund or the HRA. 

 

To approve an amendment to the
Council’s Minimum Requirement as specified and agreed in the
draft Invitation to Tender documents. This amendment introduces a
minimum land receipt of £5.5 million from the selected bidder
to the Council.
