Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval
for a waiver for the award of the contract to replace the lifts at
Brixton Recreation Centre

Decision

1.   
To award a contract to Crest Lifts Ltd, for the
replacement of lifts at Brixton Recreation Centre and undertake
associated works, by authorising a waiver in accordance with the
Council’s Contract Standing Orders.
 

2.   
To note the maximum contract value will be
£267,589 and the contract will run for 1 year from November
2023.
 

3.   
To allocate £267,589 from the currently
unallocated theme budget for Brixton Rec Refurbishment within the
existing Capital Investment Programme (CIP) approved by Cabinet in
July 2020.
