Purpose

This report seeks the approval for an increase
in the contract value, by way of a variation for the completion of
external refurbishment works at Leigham Court Estate.
The contract for these external refurbishment works was awarded to
Engie Regeneration Limited at a total contract cost of
£2,402,508.55. However, due to changes in the scope of works
and variations between the initial survey and a more detailed
intrusive surveys once the contractor mobilised, the final
projected cost is estimated at £2,704,508.55 which is an
increase of £302,000.

Decision

To note the variation of the contract with Engie Regeneration
Limited by the sum of£302,000 (from £2,402,508.55 to
£2,704,508.55) for the external works at Leigham Court Estate
between November 2022 and May 2023.
