Decision
1.
To grant a ten-year lease to The Advocacy Academy with an option to
renew for a further ten years for part of the lower ground floor
and the mezzanine level at the new workspace (Beehive Place) within
the Brixton Rec Centre. An Agreement for Lease will be put in place
to enable the tenant to complete agreed works to the premises prior
to taking occupation.
2.
To delegate to the Assistant Director: Valuation and Strategic
Assets (VASA) the detail of the final terms and conditions of a
lease in the best interest of the council.
3.
To delegate to the Assistant Director: Economy and Inward
Investment the detail of the final terms and conditions of a
Service Level Agreement outlining the tenant’s operation,
commitments, roles and responsibilities at the premises to be
appended to the lease.
