Decision

1.        
To approve a contract award for Tree Planting and Aftercare (Lot 2)
to Beeches Tree Care Ltd. The contract will commence on 2 October
2023 for a period of up to five years, to 1 October 2028. The
maximum contract value for the first two years is £500,353.
The maximum contract value for the full five years is
£2,084,367.

 
2.        
To approve a contract award for Tree Planting and Aftercare (Lot 2)
to Street Tree Ltd. The contract will commence on 2 October 2023
for a period of up to five years, to 1 October 2028. The maximum
contract value for the first two years is £475,681. The
maximum contract value for the full five years is
£2,269,205.
 
3.        
To approve a contract award for Tree Planting and Aftercare (Lot 2)
to F.A. Bartlett Tree Experts. The contract will commence on 2
October 2023 for a period of up to five years, to 1 October 2028.
The maximum contract value for the first two years is
£305,125. The maximum contract value for the full five years
is £653,605.
 
4.        
To note that the contracts have no guaranteed spend and that the
remaining forecast expenditure of £3.35 million would be
subject to securing additional funding.
 
5.        
To approve the drawdown of £1.65 million from the unallocated
theme budget for Energy, Flood Prevention and Climate Change
Response Infrastructure in the Capital Investment Programme.
