Decision

1.   
That, having considered the representations and officer comments as
outlined in this report and in Appendix A, to agree the
introduction of 116 new lamp column Electric Vehicle (EV) charge
points at the locations outlined in Table 6 of the report. The
total cost of the measures is projected to be £269,855; a sum
of up to £283,800 has been granted by the Office for Zero
Emission Vehicles (OZEV) at the Department for Transport, under
their On-Street Residential Charge Point (ORCS) Scheme, which can
cover a maximum of 75% of the costs of the new charge points and
the remaining 25% of the cost will be funded from the existing
allocation for EV Charging Infrastructure in the capital investment
programme (CIP) budget.

To have regard to the Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) undertaken
concerning the EV recharging proposals as detailed in Appendix
B.
