Purpose

A Cabinet decision is required to formally
consider and review Lambeth’s Low Carbon Sector Growth
Strategy and provide approval for the publication of the
strategy.

The Low Carbon Sector Growth Strategy has been created to ensure
that we are creating the right environment for the low carbon
sector to thrive locally. As one of the borough’s priority
sectors, the creation and publication of the strategy will enable
the council to harness the opportunities that the sector presents
in terms of driving innovation, creating high quality jobs and
supporting more liveable neighbourhoods.

Through specialist business support, access to the right space, and
upskilling our residents with the skills to work in the sector, the
strategy will outline how Lambeth can support this flourishing part
of the economy to attract investment and grow.
