Decision

1.        
To approve the award of contract to Neilcott Construction Ltd for the Kingswood Upper
Primary School Alterations
and Electrical Upgrade works, with a Contract sum
of £1,245,560 commencing on
14 August 2023 for a period of approximately 26 weeks.

 
2.        
To approve the inclusion of a client held contingency, to deal with
unforeseen construction or contract issues that may arise during
the works, only to be instructed via written authorisation by the
client through the agreed and approved change control procedure.
Also, an allowance for fees, Staff Capitalisation and other costs
be awarded as part of the overall budget for this project. This
brings the total construction cost, fees, and other costs to
£1,621,157.
