Purpose
The decision to tender the Lambeth Assessment
Centre contract which is an accommodation-based support service for
rough sleepers and single homeless people with complex needs. Staff
provide a rapid assessment of needs and then offer a suitable
move-on accommodation option.
The service sits within the Vulnerable Adults’ Pathway and is
pivotal in the smooth running of referrals into and out of
supported accommodation.
Decision
1.
To note the spend from 1 April 2023 to 30 September
2023 for an amount of £341,446.64 on the current contract
with St Mungo’s while the newly tendered contract was being
put in place.
2.
To award the Lambeth Assessment Centre service
contract to Thames Reach from 1 October 2023 to 31 March 2026 with
an option to extend for a further two years on a one plus one basis
to 31 March 2028. The maximum total of
the contract if awarded for four years and six months will be
£3,006,048.29.
