Decision

1.   
To note the representations received as detailed in
Appendix 1 in response to proposed changes to the current parking
emissions banding pricing structure for resident permits and paid
for parking sessions for both On-Street parking and Car
Parks.
 

2.   
To have regard to the Equality Impact Assessment
prepared for the purposes of this report (Appendix 2).
 

3.   
Subject to the recommendations at 1 and 2, to
proceed with the implementation of the proposals detailed in this
report under sections 6, 35, 45, 46, 49, 124 and Part IV of
Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Appendix
3).
 

4.   
To exercise discretion not to hold a public inquiry
in this instance.
 

5.   
To approve the introduction of the changes with
effect from 19 May 2023.
 

6.   
To introduce a monthly instalment option for the
payment of the resident permit.
