Purpose

The procurement and award of contract for
cycle training and associated active travel services to encourage
cycling and wheeling within the borough from 2025 to 2029. These
activities support objectives and targets in the Borough Plan,
Lambeth Transport Plan, Kerbside Strategy, Active Lambeth Strategy,
Road Danger Reduction Strategy and the Climate Change Action
Plan.

Decision

1.        
Approve the award of contract for the provision of Cycle Training
and Bikeability Services to Cycle Confident Ltd for an initial term
of two years from 27 October 2025 to 26 October 2027, with the
option to extend for up to a further two years, subject to
available funding.
 

2.        
Approve the maximum contract value of £700,000 for the
initial term and £1.4 million if fully extended, to be funded
through the Transport for London Local Implementation Plan (LIP)
grant, with no obligation to spend in the absence of funding.
