Purpose
In July 2023 Lead Cabinet Members agreed the
procurement strategy for negotiating new service contracts for
integrated sexual health services (ISHS) with our current service
providers Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust
(GSTT) and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
(KCH). In February 2024 Cabinet Leads agreed to a six-month
extension to enable more time for negotiations. This report
recommends directly awarding a contract to GSTT for a further 12
months.
Decision
To approve the award of the contract
for the provision of Integrated Sexual Health Services (ISHS) to
GSTT through the NHS Provider Selection Regime Direct Award Process
C for a period of three years from 1 October 2025 with the option
for two extensions for one year each. The total maximum contract
sum for Lambeth over the five-year contract period is
£14,361,251.80.
