Purpose

To agree Lambeth’s updated Placement
Policy. The Placement Policy sets out how we allocate and determine
suitability of accommodation for households we place into temporary
accommodation and the private rented sector.

Decision

1.            
To approve the revised Placement Policy, replacing the current
Placement Policy and the Discharge of Duty into the Private Rented
Sector Policy. The policy will be enacted once the statutory review
function has been brought in house, which is planned for December
2025.
