Approval to award contracts under the Provider Selection Regime
Direct Award Process C, for the delivery of LARC Services from 1
April 2026 to 31 March 2027, with an option to extend for a further
three years (three consecutive one-year terms) to 31 March 2030 to
all interested Lambeth GP Practices organised into nine Primary
Care Networks (PCNs) as the most suitable providers to deliver a
LARC service to eligible patients.
The principal objective of the service is to ensure that women have
access to the full range of contraceptive options by increasing the
availability of Intra-Uterine Devices/Systems (IUD/IUS) and
contraceptive implants in General Practice. To complement existing
contraception services in secondary care and the community.
