Purpose

To publish the results of the consultation of
the business cycle hangar trial in Waterloo and set out council
policy on a boroughwide offer for business cycle hangars.

Decision

1.   
To have regard to the Equality considerations prepared for the
purposes of this report (summarised at Section 7 of the report)

To consider the performance of the trial in relation to existing
policy and feedback received.
 
3.   
To consider all public responses and objections received during the
trial of the Business Cycle Hangars scheme and the Council’s
response to representations as set out in Appendix B.
 
4.   
To issue scheme approval for making the business cycle hangar trial
permanent at three locations on Roupell Street, Morely Street and
Hercules Road from March 2026.
 
5.   
To endorse allowing businesses boroughwide to express their
interest in business cycle hangars, akin to the residential cycle
